Today's Daily Flickr Pickr selection smacked me in the face. At first, I looked at it and went "hmm, that's a cool photo of some trees, but how did he get that lighting on them. Looks very artificial, 'cause there's no way you can get that sort of lighting out in nature." Then I read the description of the photo and how it was taken downtown Vancouver and the "blue sky" backdrop was actually the Wall Center building at Nelson and Burrard.

Blown. Away.

Another perfect example of why this city is so awesome.
