I grew up in North Van, born and raised through my early teens at the base of Grouse Mountain. Awesome part of town, no doubt. We spent a lot of time hiking around the trails of Grouse like the Baden Powell and what not. If you've never hiked any of the trials of the north shore mountains, beside the grouse Grind, then you need to grab your camera and head on up. There are some really cool things to snap photos of, like the remnants of this old mill in West Van. Myself, I remember coming across old cabins, old cars, etc in the thick of the woods. Super Awesome.
