Okay, first of all, if you haven't heard of the amazingness of Tracks On Tracks let me break it down for you.
Our friends at Green Couch Sessions and CBC Radio 3 are putting together a trip from Vancouver to Toronto on the VIA Rail (not Vancouver Is Awesome rail, VIA Rail) train The Canadian, and they're taking six western Canadian Bands with them! Three of which they have already chosen (VIAindie fav Adaline was announced today on Radio 3, with more announced soon), and three more are going to be voted in by the public.
Nominations are in and voting starts today. If you CLICK HERE or on the photo above you can see the long list of bands. (One vote per computer!)
There is so much talent on there, so I (as VIA's Indie Music Editor) only suggest that you support your local favourites. I know that's what I'll be doing.
ALSO! They will be giving away a 2 pairs of tickets for the train (we find out tomorrow how) and I have my fingers crossed I can win my way on!!!
