Did you know that this week is National Volunteer Week in Canada? This is a week when we celebrate all of the 12.5 million Canadians who are "leading positive change on all fronts" by giving up their time to contribute to things that they believe in. From firefighters to environmental advocates to disaster relief to... well, the list is long.
And on this list of volunteer positions are the folks who donate their time and efforts each week bringing you only the best of the best that your city has to offer: our editors and contributors! More than 60 people make up the hard working team behind this positivity machine that we operate over here, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of them for making Vancouver Is Awesome what it is today.
