A friend forwarded this video along to me and I imagine it may have already made the rounds but I couldn't help but share. It's a "Canadian Paramount News" production of a whirlwind day that Bing Crosby did in Vancouver in 1948. It ends on an interesting angle where he's trying to sell us Canadian Savings Bonds so I'm left to wonder if his trip was paid for by doing this infomercial or if he really just wanted to help our government after the second world war. Regardless, he was given a key to the city!
