Super Moon's effects seen on today's tide in False Creek!

Earlier today my family and I found ourselves on one of the beaches near Habitat Island in False Creek (which I'll be telling you about in the coming weeks) with The Playground editor's daughter, Sadie, and Sadie's father (and husband of said editor), Court. Throwing rocks into the creek we all noted how low the tide was but didn't think anything of it until later in the day when someone asked if it was because of last night's Super Moon that you no doubt saw highlighted on every one of the social media platforms that you use.

After a little research I found out that, indeed, the Super Moon's effects are seen on the tides and that it likely dipped a few inches below the lowest level that it would normally hit.

Did you shoot photos of the low tide today? Posts links to them in the comments so we can see them!
