You know, there aren't enough photos of the train bridge beside the Ironworker's Memorial bridge in my humble opinion. Is it because it's hard to get to? Not as photogenic as the Lions Gate? Who knows...but it's an awesome bridge, no doubt. And, not to be confused with the "old" name of the Ironworker's, the vertical lift train bridge is the one originally named the Second Narrows Bridge. It's big brother beside it stole the name until it was renamed in 1994. ;) It's gone through a few transformations over the years, and the version you see today was built in 1969.

It's super cool to watch it "opening" or "closing" too. If you have a chance to watch it, you should.
