So because Sasquatch fried my brain, I forgot to apply for a photo pass to shoot the Arkells show on Friday. So I got to see it but not shoot it. So if you want to KNOW what it was like, read Kirk's review, and my friend Rebecca took a few shots which you can SEE here.

Luckily I got a pass for the Wintersleep show last night at the Biltmore, so I have something to show you.

More importantly...check out what's up for later this week, and what's happening while I'm gone:

THIS WEEK IN MUSIC: is a ton of fun...Wednesday you should check out the Fader Mountain Sound opening and then head to Jasper Sloan Yip, The Never Surprise, and Wind Up Radio Sessions at The Railway. Thursday is CRAZY and you have a LOT to choose from. I'd suggest starting your evening at Say Wha? at Cottage Bistro on Main Street and then heading to any of these: Adaline/Data Romance at the Biltmore, Redbird/Vince Vaccaro at Venue (that might overlap w/ Say Wha? actually), and/or Top Less Gay Love Tekno Party at 560! Friday I leave on the Tracks On Tracks train but YOU can go see Gold and Youth at the Electric Owl with Gang Signs on Friday, and on Saturday head back to the Owl and see Rykka and Star Captains.

--- I'll let you know now what's up next week while I'm at NXNE: Thursday the 14th you should check out the Polaris Prize Long List Salon at the Waldorf, as well as the Patrick Watson show at the Vogue. Also that night Fish & Bird and Headwater AND White Ash Falls at the Biltmore. I dont envy the decisions you need to make! Friday June 15th go see Capitol 6, Twin River, and Two Towns at the China Cloud. Saturday -16th - head to the Vogue for Hey Ocean's CD release show with We Are The City! And that's it!
