It is with a heart full of pride today that I share the news that our Toronto chapter has launched!
The site was built off of the successful model that we've built over the past four and a half years to tell you all about the great stuff, the great people, and the great reasons that keep you living here. Former V.I.A. editor, Joel Levy, has taken the Is Awesome ball to Toronto and is running with it out there with an impressively large team of editors and contributors.
They kicked their launch off today with 25 fresh features, including a Most Awesome interview with Jeanne Beker of Fashion Television and a host of other features inspired by V.I.A. but obviously with a spin on who and what makes Toronto great. And don't worry, we won't be micro-managing from the West Coast; the semi-independent Canada Is Awesome property has been carefully crafted to include some of Toronto's most interesting writers and photographers, with their hands deep in the pockets of what makes their city, well, awesome.
