Winner of two Governor-General's Awards, an Officer of the Order of Canada, our country's first ever Parliamentary Poet Laureate, author of over 60 books, Vancouver's own George Bowering had some things to say on our Facebook Page earlier today.
First, he was inquiring about some grammar we had used, asking if the word "fun" is now considered an adjective...
Second, he made a general comment, not at all related to the post he left it on, essentially letting us know what he thinks of our title...
The facts that A) George Bowering is even on Facebook and B) he chose to take the piss out of us on it? Well, those are both pretty awesome things. We'll try to take his copy editing advice to heart, but our name? That'll have to remain the same. It's been four and a half years now, and it's kinda stuck.
