Following through on my Creative Mornings lecture by stocking a pond with trout, Part 2

Early yesterday I hopped on a quick ferry ride to Galiano Island to finish what I started months ago, helping to stock a pond at Bodega Ridge Resort with rainbow trout.

Early yesterday I hopped on a quick ferry ride to Galiano Island to finish what I started months ago, helping to stock a pond at Bodega Ridge Resort with rainbow trout. I realize that might sound incredibly random so if you're just coming in then I suggest you have a look AT THIS POST to get caught up.

The fish aren't due to arrive until tomorrow morning so in the meantime I've set up a remote office here in the cabin, as they offer complimentary wireless access. When I say I'm "working remotely", I mean THIS!

And of course I'm working away on my computer but that doesn't mean I haven't been able to enjoy some of the things that the island has to offer. Like deer on the side of the road.

Glimpses at life on a rural route.

A sweet provincial park (Montague Bay).

And views like this only a short walk from my "office" at Bodega.

Stay tuned for my third post tomorrow after we drop 500 fish into the pond! And thanks again to BC Ferries for helping me get here.
