The more of these Random Acts posts I make, the more I feel like I have to introduce them by telling you that they are not at all random and in fact most everything that I post under this title has been carefully considered by the people , and has involved a lot of work on their end.
It is not random that Dan Mangan won 3 Western Canadian Music Awards this past weekend (Songwriter of the Year, Rock Album of the Year and Independent Album of the Year) but the news fits into the Random Acts category and allows me to make a quick blog post about it, while sharing this new video he released for his cover of Yukon Blonde's song, Stairway.
