TO DIE FOR FOOD OF THE WEEK - VOLUME 27

Every week I compile a collection of the most mouthwatering food photos that I shot in & around Vancouver. The hashtag #todiefor denotes an item truly knee weakening in flavour.

Pumpkin Taco by Cafe For Contemporary Art - with ancho-chili-chocolate sauce, ultra garlicky goat cheese crema & crisp iceberg lettuce. Boy, did this flavor combo work!

Spicy House Made syrup (for lattes) by Cafe For Contemporary Art  - a perfect blend of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, orange zest, etc. Tastes like autumn in a cup. "Cafca" is one of the few cafes in the city who makes their own, all-natural syrups. Kudos to Julian, the brain behind it all.

Let's Patch - the perfect table centrepiece & self-watering system for growing food at home. Homemade mojitos, anyone? More info here.

Private Dining by Chef Jennifer Bentall - what could possibly be more fun than hiring a Cordon Bleu trained chef to cook in your home for a dinner party with close friends? Thanks to The lululemon Lab, I discovered Chef Jen whose food was phenomenal. She even served soup in her mother's wedding China. Contact her on Twitter here.

Spicy Veg Sandwich by Motion Foods - a hidden gem of a lunch spot on Welch Street in North Vancouver, serving healthy options like this grilled veggie packed creation including a fabulous portion of creamy goat cheese.
