A Good Book Drive: Bob Kronbauer

A couple of days ago I introduced you to A Good Book Drive , a charity effort spearheaded by my good friends Cory Ashworth and Lizzy Karp from Rain City Chronicles.

The idea is to team up with a great group of independent Vancouver retailers that will each house a Good Book Box where you can drop off your favorite kids book. All of the books that they collect will then be donated to the Writer’s Exchange program in East Van where they’ll serve inner city kids.

I don't think I can emphasize how truly awesome this is going to be.

A couple of days ago I introduced you to A Good Book Drive, a charity effort spearheaded by my good friends Cory Ashworth and Lizzy Karp from Rain City Chronicles.

Each day over the next month Cory will be making a similar blog post to this one, sharing all kinds of different people's stories who have donated books to the drive. We decided it'd be fun if I started things off by sharing the book that I personally donated, Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein. My favourite kids book ever.

Each of these posts will have some audio with the person talking about their book. Listen to hear my personal connection to this book and its author, and why I chose it...

Learn more about the project and where to donate by visiting agoodbookdrive.com and stay tuned for many more stories over the coming weeks!
