Hana Pesut is the photographer behind the amazing Switcheroo photo-series that's gaining fans all over the world for its sweet, simple concept: Before and after shots of couples in each other's clothes. You've probably seen her work, recognize your friends, or heck, even yourself - she's shot over 400 people for the series in over 7 countries so far. Capturing a moment in time in the lives of her subjects (and their relationships), the Switcheroo series is immediately, instinctually compelling. And has garnered attention in Vice, the Globe and Mail, and the Huffington Post, among other international publications.

When did you start this project?
I started the Switcheroo project in May 2010. At the time, I had just quit my day job and was figuring out what to do with myself so I thought it was a good time to start a photo project.
Who and where was your first shoot? Your last?
The first shoot was with my friends Sara and Julia while we were staying at my mom's in Pemberton. The last Switcheroo I shot was my friends Carley and Jeremy who recently got married, also in Pemberton.

You've done these shoots all over the world. Were your travels a by-product of the project or vice versa?
I mostly have been traveling for other reasons but always try to get a couple switcheroos while in a new location. I will be in Miami from December 6 - 10 if you and a partner are interested in doing a switcheroo please email me your availability, location and a photo to sincerelyhana@gmail.com.
What camera do you use and why?
I shoot with a Hasselblad 500cm because I'm still hooked on film and the square format works really well for this project.
Each photo captures a really sweet kind of intimacy - what kinds of relationships are you capturing in your subjects?
Most of the subjects are couples but I've also shot siblings, friends and father/daughter, cousins, etc.

How many photos will be included in the book and how many copies are you hoping to print?
The book is 64 pages and will include around 40 switcheroos, but it's not finalized yet. I'm hoping to print 500 copies but I'll have to see how the campaign goes.
The best way to guarantee a copy of the book when it's made is to contribute to your campaign, yes?
Yes the campaign is sort of a pre-sale so it's the best way to make sure you get one.
