The Love Umbrella Project: Day 1 with Alex Mazerolle and photographer Noel Hendrickson

13 community leaders are teaming up with 13 photographers over the next two weeks in The Love Umbrella Project headed up by Kelly Deck. It’s an art-based media campaign and photo exhibition sponsored by The Vancouver Foundation, with all proceeds going to Leave Out Violence (LOVE), a Vancouver community organization devoted to youth anti-violence programs. It kicked off today!

Each team was given the task of collaborating on an image or a series of images sharing the story of how love illuminates their communities. Click the image below to see more from Alex Mazerolle and photographer Noel Hendrickson, to learn more about their concept and the project as a whole.

“Loving yourself is the catalyst to living a big and beautiful life. The more you love, the more you want to share”.
