This Italian liqueur's global cocktail competition hit the west coast for day of mixology recipe judging and tapings.

On this afternoon, contestants showcased their eclectic drink concoctions to a panel of local judges. Upstairs, Disaronno threw a social lounging endeavour with their own cocktails including a fairly refreshing Disaronno sour (above).

To dine, the secluded rooftop hotel eatery had some fine bites like the grilled Albacore tuna loin (with sundried tomatoes and Kalamata olive tapenade), a light yet moist, flavourful entrée.

For the more carnivorous, the AAA flat iron steak with Chimichurri sauce was a succulent, fine midday meat treat.

Contestants, beverage professionals, and hospitality staff rolled in, enjoying the lounge and specialty cocktails in an effort to promote Disaronno's diverse use as a mixer and fruity amaretto.
