This past winter, Vancouver musicians Brent Freedman and Rolla Olak posted up in a cabin at my favourite Gulf Island resort, Bodega Ridge, and proceeded to record a series of songs under the band name Galiano. What resulted is a wonderfully folky and upbeat EP, which we were recently treated to a live performance of at a launch party at... wait for it... Bodega Ridge!
