We asked him to share his thoughts on how it came to be, and here's what he had to say...
I had it done by well known Vancouver tattooist Dan Thompson to commemorate my time spent in Vancouver. My my entire adult life I've spent moving back and forth across Canada. I lived in Vancouver while I attended Emily Carr. No other city I've lived in has impacted me much like Vancouver. There's nothing more humbling then getting caught in the rain without an umbrella.
