BOOM! Canada has taken the title this year as the winner of the 2013 Honda Celebration of Light fireworks competition!
I hope you managed to take in all three nights of what I personally feel is the best annual event Vancouver has to offer. I was honoured and humbled to have a place on the jury for the fourth year in a row, working with fellow judges (from L to R below), Nasir Kumradin from Honda, Matt Meehan from Condord Pacific, John Nicholson from the West End BIA, Councillor Raymond Louie from the City and Sonia Sunger from Global. With the help of pyrotechnician Patrick Brault and your online votes, we concluded that Canada put on the best show. HERE is a breakdown of how the scoring works.
