All of this (actually deadly serious) business with George Takei and others CALLING for the International Olympic Committee to move the 2014 Olympics from Sochi back to Vancouver reminded me of a (not-at-all serious) sketch series that some local comedians released in 2010. In it, nightclub owner Keefer Slim (played by Cameron Macleod) has the genius idea of "re-bidding the bid" and bringing back the Games for 2012. It's not as noble as defending human rights like the current re-bid cause, but it's a great watch.
