Public Space, I Love U

How well do you know Vancouver? It’s pretty easy to find more famous landmarks, like Science World and the Olympic Cauldron.

How well do you know Vancouver? It’s pretty easy to find more famous landmarks, like Science World and the Olympic Cauldron. But do you know where your closest neighbourhood pop-up library is, or where Mountain View Cemetery’s first intended burial was laid to rest?

The Vancouver Public Space Network is presenting PS (Public Space) I Love U — a photo hunt to celebrate the city’s public spaces. They've compiled a checklist of Vancouver’s hidden local treasures, some well-known and some…. not so much. Care for a little exploration?

This free, five-hour photo hunt will challenge people to discover the fun public spaces that exist throughout the city. The list includes unconventional public art, community-inspired fixtures, and just fun and odd things that are exclusively Vancouver. Can you find them all?

So on Saturday, September 21st, show them how well you know your city and explore its wonderfully diverse public spaces for some awesome prizes. Go towww.psluv604.tumblr.com for details and register for free at www.psluv604.tumblr.com/play
