Previously Inseam featured local designer Patty Nayel, of Pure Magnolia bridal has partnered with Flawless Events to host a charity event benefiting the YWCA Crabtree Corner. Located in the Downtown Eastside, Crabtree Corner provides women and families with a number of services in order to improve their quality of life.
Throughout the summer, Patty collected unwanted wedding gowns and upcycled them into custom gowns for five local brides who have received services from the Crabtree Corner, and who would not have otherwise been able to afford a gown.
Zazou Salon and Spa is also partnering with this event to provide the deserving ladies with some pampering, and Mirror Mirror Bijoux will be giving them custom jewelry.
The five gowns, along with pieces of Pure Magnolia's 2014 collection, will be featured at a charity event at the Vancouver Aquarium on the evening of October 2nd. Tickets are $30.00 for a general ticket or $45.00 for VIP, with all proceeds going to the YWCA Crabtree Corner.
