The guys over at Pucked in the Head are putting on an extra special event called the Vancouver Table Hockey Extravaganza on Saturday, September 21st. It's a table hockey tournament to celebrate all things hockey and the social aspect of real-world gaming, and a $25 registration gets you a guaranteed 5 games and a chance at winning some serious prizes like a Stiga table hockey game that's signed by 12 Vancouver Canucks!

And there's a second component to this Extravaganza, a crazier one that involves eight brave souls playing 30 consecutive hours of table hockey to set the World Record for the longest-ever game. The current record is 27 hours and change, set in the Czech Republic four years ago. Whitecaps anthem singer, Marie Hui, will sing O Canada to start the attempt at 1pm Friday September 2013.
Not only will it be a lot of fun, but the Extravaganza will be raising food for Five Hole for Food and dollars for Canuck Place. Learn more at puckedinthehead.com/tablehockey/
