If you're a parent in British Columbia, chances are you're familiar with BC’s public educational broadcaster's Knowledge Kids programming. There's also a chance that your kid knows (and sings) the jingle "We... are... Knowledge Kids" over breakfast as they're learning all about counting and reading and being a good little kid. A couple years back I INTRODUCED you to the president of the network, Rudy Buttignol, and the network's mandate to broadcast commercial-free programs that promote literacy and numeracy. That's still really, really awesome.

I was thrilled last week when I received the news that Knowledge released a kids book called Which Way Back, illustrated by Rory O'Sullivan, who you might remember as the guy who did the #signsofvancouver illustrations we shared. As expected, the book is beautiful AND it has some lessons to be learned. My almost-5-year-old son loves it. The main characters are Knowledge Kids' characters Luna, Chip and Inkie and you can learn all about it on their mini-site right HERE.
