Turkey comas over there were a few great shows happening this past week that I managed to attend. I hope you all saw some great live music too. More happening:
THIS WEEK IN MUSIC: Grant Lawrence is holding his book launch for "The Lonely End Of The Rink" on Thursday with musical guest Bodhi Jones at the BC Sports Hall Of Fame. Friday Halloween festivities start to kick off (yes, a week early) and might I suggest the Sumner Brothers 5th annual All Hallow's Eve show at the Biltmore, also featuring Ben Rogers, Hallow Moon, The Wild North, and Brandon Wolfe Scott (of Yukon Blonde). Also on Friday, and not Halloween themed, is the Fast Romantics, Hot Panda, Mise En Scene, and Joyce Island, all performing at the Railway. Finally on Monday, I'm hosting Industry Night at the Media Club ft. LEGS, come have some cheap drinks and hear some great music.
