Every month we feature a kitty or two who are looking for their forever home.

Today we have an adoptable kitty from VOKRA who was rescued almost one year ago today. After such a long wait, Clark is hoping to find a forever home for 2014.

VOKRA does not have a shelter; they provide over 250 individual foster homes which helps to protect the very young from colds, distemper, parasites and other transmissible illnesses. In a home environment, cats are safe and well socialized, with lots of love and attention.

VOKRA also has an extensive TNR program, which means they trap, spay/neuter, and work with community cats to control the homeless cat population.

Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association (VOKRA) is a no-kill, non-profit, registered charity dedicated to the rescue of cats in the Lower Mainland that is run entirely by volunteers with no paid staff.

CLARK
Clark - VOKRA

Clark was found last December with his cat buddy, Kent. The two of them were left in a dumpster, locked in their carriers behind a pet supply store in Surrey. They are very lucky to have been found. The two of them have been in a caring foster home for almost a year now, and they are so happy to have been given a new chance at a forever family. Clark will greet you when you get up in the morning, and will be the first to meet you at the door when you come home.
