Have you ever been to Blim in Chinatown? We had our office on their second floor for years and in that time I got to know the founders, Yuirko and Noel. Break through the surface of their eclectic store at 115 East Pender and you'll find a gallery space, studios, and a large space where they hold many a workshop (screen printing, tie dying, collage) for people of all walks. They also put on a monthly market at the Heritage Hall in Mt Pleasant and are one of my absolute favourite independent efforts in this city.
