Jerez Gallery & Cafe is a pop-up inspired by a trip to Andalusia in Spain that Kyle, the owner, recently returned from. He was taken by the extensive tapas bars and their celebration of food. This room provides a place to slow down from the pace of life and enjoy the immediacy of one’s environment.

The space is designed as a working pop up gallery showcasing Canadian artists. During the popups two week duration performances will range from music, film, and opera. There will be dinner events, wine and beer tastings as well as a forum on ‘Blind Tasting’. The permanent exhibition on display will feature two Canadian artists: Susanne Gartlan, a Vancouver based visual artist and Stephanie Faubert, a Toronto based photographer.

The food is inspired by the flavours of Spain with a West Coast simplicity. They are predominantly small bites that pack immense flavour. Sharing is the key to enjoyment!
