Still disappointed that Pee-wee Herman canceled his Vancouver appearance? On Wednesday, March 5th, Paul Anthony's Talent Time plans to make it up to you with "Best of the West hosted by Pee Wee Herman". (It may not be the actual Pee Wee but we trust it to be a reasonable facsimile)  It's hard to stay on top of the hot shows and find time to explore your entertainment options; that's why it's so smart for Talent Time to offer a sample platter of some of the city's most inventive and popular comedic events rolled into one.

You may know Graham Clark as one of Canada's best standup comedians and co-host of the award-winning "Stop Podcasting Yourself", but did you know he also hosts a hilarious wrestling show at the Little Mountain Studios? It's called "Ring-A-Ding-Dong-Dandy" and he will present a mini version for all in attendance at the Biltmore.  Stand-up comedian Alicia Tobin will lead people to explore themselves through drawing and then she will make fun of their drawings in a lighthearted, adorable way. "Come Draw With Me" happens regularly at Hot Art Wet City. Then there's "Rapp Battlez Wezt Coazt", where 2 comedians take on odd, often conceptual characters and "battle rapp" each other for supremacy and laughs. This is also a regular Little Mountain show hosted by Taz VanRassel & Ryan Beil of the Canadian Comedy Award-winning improv troop, the Sunday Service.  Plus there will be musical guest, "The King of the Ukulele", Ralph Shaw, who's a witty raconteur with an infectious joy of performing.

Talent Time is always the highlight of the month for me and any of my smart friends who I can convince to come out on a hump day.  This time they have put my favourite funny shows into one to make it irresistible to miss. Plus the Facebook event boasts an onsite mini donut truck, Cover Charge Piñata (where you can win your admission back!) and appearances by popular Pee Wee friends Conky & Jambi the genie.  Cover is $10, doors open at 8pm, and talent takes the stage at 9pm.
