One of our most popular features last year was Andrea Loewen's PARKING THE CAR in her Vancouver On The Cheap series where she brings you the best frugal tips for living in this expensive city of ours. In it, she shared a bunch of tips for cheap and free parking around Vancouver, and so I figured you'd be interested in knowing that CBC one-upped us today by releasing THIS SWEET INTERACTIVE MAP showing hourly rates at many of downtown Vancouver's parking spots, which are priced differently for some strange reason. If you're parking all day (as I do sometimes when I have to drive to our downtown office instead of taking the train) there are many - much cheaper - options than hourly parking, but this map should help you save some money regardless.
