Over the weeks we've been bringing you news of the Gesamtkunstwerk exhibition (see the archive HERE), and are excited to introduce you to the Westbank Salon Series which is a curated series of intimate dialogues about the state of the city, held in their space.

These interactive salons are formatted in a Q+A dialogue on the state of city-building in Vancouver, and the applicability of “Total Design” to improve our urban environment.

Each of the Westbank Salons will begin at 6:00pm with a structured dialogue featuring the evening’s guest, hosted by Trevor Boddy, salon and exhibition curator. Later in the hour they open the session for comments and questions from the audience.

The first Salon is tomorrow night at 6:00pm with Leslie Van Duzer, Director of the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. These are free events with RSVP. Full details on all 5 of them can be found HERE.

BONUS AWESOMENESS: They’re asking folks to tweet questions about city building and urban design to @Gwerkca with the hashtag #gwerkSalon for a chance to win an evening of conversation with each week’s salon series speaker (except for Larry Beasley on April 15) and guests at ORU at the Fairmont Pacific Rim following the salon. Get on it!
