It should come as news to none that when we started this website more than 6 years ago it was partly an answer to the "No Fun City" moniker that Vancouver had been given by some of its most cynical residents. Sure there are a lot of things wrong with your city but the intention of V.I.A. has always been to remind you of everything that keeps you here in spite of all the crap.
Last year when Arsenal Pulp Press released Lani Russwurm's history book, Vancouver WAS Awesome, we thought it was fantastic but had no idea it'd make it near the top of the BC Bestsellers List. It's with great pride today that I introduce you to an event that Lani is participating in with Aaron Chapman, author of another great Vancouver history book published by Arsenal, Liquor Lust and the Law.
