Million dollar t-shirt idea: "BIKE LANES GIVE ME A POWELL MOVEMENT"

Yesterday Stephen Hui tweeted out a link to THIS STORY he wrote for the Georgia Straight about a potential Powell Street bike lane, jokingly saying "I can see the T-shirts now: "Bike lanes give me a Powell movement" ".

Yesterday Stephen Hui tweeted out a link to THIS STORY he wrote for the Georgia Straight about a potential Powell Street bike lane, jokingly saying "I can see the T-shirts now: "Bike lanes give me a Powell movement" ". I tweeted him some encouragement for what could be a million dollar idea as people on both sides of any bike lanes debate could wear this t-shirt; those who are keen on bike lanes would be crapping their pants with excitement and those opposed would be crapping them in opposition.

Stephen then mocked up the idea, which he framed as a Vision Vancouver fundraising idea, LOBBING it over to Vision's Executive Director, Stepan Vdovine...

I still think this should be a nonpartisan "movement" with t-shirts and brews available for everybody who wants to weigh in on the debate, but this is a good start. Who's going to step up and make it happen?
