Another festival lineup has been announced...did you see what Khatsahlano is going to bring you for FREE yet again this year? (Check it out.) The launch party was last week and Jay Arner performed, which I was lucky enough to watch. Also launching last week, the Bedouin Cabaret series at Nuba on West 4th...every Thursday until July 3rd they will be bringing you new acts, and this week I caught Gord Grdina. (Click for more info!)
THIS WEEK IN MUSIC: starts Thursday with another edition of Bedouin Cabaret, and over at the Biltmore Cabaret, Song of The Beatles, Night #2! Also that night is a free show (!!!) at the Fox Cabaret with Sex With Strangers (Album Release!), ACTORS, War Baby, and Combine The Victorious. Friday is busy (Tracy Morgan is in town!), but might I suggest you start your night with the VCBW opening night at Gossip with Prevail Prevail, and then head to the BESTiE album release show with Sunshine, NEEDS, and Derrival, over at Fortune. And finally on Saturday, head to the Biltmore for an early show and see Jordan Klassen, with Chersea.
