Here are the deets on Scout, submitted by VIA reader Natalie O!

Breed/Colouring: Tabby with a white chest, matching white boots, and Elizabeth Taylor (as seen in Cleopatra) eye makeup.

Hood: Mount Pleasant

Habits: Scout likes to pounce on Natalie's feet when she tries to leave for work, and the minute she gets home, Scout runs to her scratching post to show off her claws in case Natalie gets any ideas about leaving again. Scout has also been noted to get startled and leap into the air for no apparent reason, knock all Natalie's homework on the floor so she can roll on it, follow Natalie around, and to generally make sure she is aware of everything that happens in her little domain.

Hangouts: Scout perches atop anything she can find (stacks of books, tables, chairs, boxes.) When not surveying the land below, she is curled up in Natalie's bed or basking in any available patch of sunshine.

Name: Scout Jean Louise Finch (AKA: Mew-Mew, Kitten, The Cat)

Favorite Things: Playtime, treats, catnip, toys, naps, and the sound of a fresh tin of food being opened. She is also very good at making toys out of any object she can find (puzzle pieces, bobby pins, bits of fluff) and gets so involved she chirps in frustration when her toys won't "die."

Other Info: "I adopted Scout from VOKRA a few months ago which ended up being one of the best decisions I've made in the past couple years. I went on a number of cat dates but was immediately drawn to her playful, inquisitive nature and funny little face. She's one of the smallest kitties I've ever seen, but has one of the biggest personalities. As a former wild creature she has a mysterious past and her age is unknown (I was told she was 7 when I got her, but according to the vet she might be closer to 3.) She's the perfect companion: fiercely independent yet affectionate (in her own, quirky way), quite clever (especially when it comes to games involving treats), endlessly amusing and so, so cute."
