The best reason not to barf in a cab in Vancouver is because it's awful to do that, but as a bit of an incentive the Passenger Transportation Board has introduced a $75 "vomit fee" imposed to anyone who commits such a heinous act (on a Friday or Saturday night, or any other day and time).
