VHF's lunchtime walking tours are over for the season, but back for the fall are VHF's Brown Bag Lunch and Learn talks at BCIT Downtown, 555 Seymour.  Bring your lunch and listen to architects, designers, and other industry professionals present on recent heritage projects in Vancouver. Each talk is followed by a Q&A session where you can ask questions about the project.

To start off our fall season, Glen Stokes from Bruce Carscadden Architect will talk about the restoration of 564 Beatty Street and the construction of a dramatic, modern addition on top. A historically cool row of early 20th century warehouses on Beatty St, ending at the north end with the iconic Sun Tower, they now house uniquely designed condos, a cooking school, cafe, offices and at 564 Beatty, Chambar's new space, with offices in the addition. Bruce Carscadden Architect does diverse projects from an aquatic centre, bike shelters, microlofts, and what look like very cool public washrooms at Wreck Beach!

Join us this Wednesday, September 17th from 12pm-1:30pm (includes Q&A). It's only $12 and student pricing is available. Please call the office at 604-264-9642 for more information about our Student Access Program. We'll be at BCIT Downtown, 555 Seymour, Room 481. Add a little learning to your lunch time!
