Vancouver’s “Beer and Idea Appreciation Society” to launch in November

Our friends at One Twenty Three West just released this illustration for something they’re calling The Beer & Idea Appreciation Society. For most of us this is simply a nice illustration to look at (SERIOUSLY nice; I am in love with it) but for the Vancouver advertising and design community it could fill a hole that was left (albeit debatably) when the Lotus Awards were cancelled earlier this year. It’s going to be “a celebration of creativity” and they’re telling folks to mark their calendars for November 12th when they’ll be holding a special event at the just-about-to-open (like this week) Steel Toad Brewpub. If you’re in advertising and design, save the date. If you’re not, behold this illustration!
