The vision for this publication is that it become "a timeless resource that would serve to preserve our heritage and provide an expanded narrative of our history, a narrative that we don’t find in our history textbooks in Canada. Sadly, most times we lose our treasures not by fire, flood or willful destruction, but simply by neglect – and that we simply could not allow."
