Amazing places to travel in Southern BC in the winter (spoiler: they're not ski resorts)

Since the fall of 2010 I've been writing stories for our Super, Neighbours travel series, exploring British Columbia in a way I never imagined I would.

Since the fall of 2010 I've been writing stories for our Super, Neighbours travel series, exploring British Columbia in a way I never imagined I would. The trips have opened my eyes to the awesomeness of a lot of other nearby towns and cities and one of the biggest revelations I've had is that traveling Southern BC in the fall and winter is actually the best time to do it. In the summer we all flock to the best spots, competing for space and relaxation. But in the winter the hordes retreat and many of the crowded resorts you love in August ooze quiet December tranquility, sometimes making you feel like you're the only guest there.

Here's a guide to eleven places I've exposed in the series, traveled to in the "off" season, which I know as the "best" season. Click "VIEW MAP" to see their exact locations and make sure to get out there this coming winter.
