Grouse Mountain reopens Paradise Bowl today

It's been a little chilly in the city over the past couple of days, leaving us to wonder if winter might have got its second wind. Confirmation came today from Grouse Mountain as they announced they're opening their Paradise Bowl area at 3:00pm after a few days of snowmaking in these colder temperatures!

“It has taken a little patience and perseverance, but we are thrilled to welcome the return of winter to the Peak of Vancouver,” Grouse Mountain general manager Michael Cameron said in a release they sent out. “The cool temperatures and clear skies have provided ideal conditions for our snowmaking efforts which is perfect timing as we look forward to a fun-filled Spring Break here at Grouse Mountain.”

Below is what it looks like up there right now. They're also opening the Paradise Bowl terrain park tomorrow morning.
