This is the kind of story that you couldn't make up unless you were a writer for the TV show, Weeds. Ross Rebagliati, once almost stripped of his Olympic 1998 gold medal for testing positive for weed, now runs a successful cannabis company called Ross' Gold. Vice's show, Munchies, featured him in this recent piece below which opens up by showing him vaporizing on a ski run, then stating that "Cannabis is definitely a performance enhancing drug". While we don't condone getting high before doing sports this is a super interesting look into the weird life of this former Olympian who, according to this piece, is pretty much high from the moment he wakes up until the moment he goes to bed. He believes that cannabis use is a cornerstone to a successful exercise regime and harbours some other eyebrow-raising opinions. Worth a watch.
