Van City Kitty: Take Anastasia Home!

Happy Friday! The Van City Kitty email has been acting up for the last little while.

Happy Friday! The Van City Kitty email has been acting up for the last little while. Please hold on to your cat photos, and I will let you know when it's back up! Normally, you'd be able to click  here to find out how your cat can appear on Van City Kitty. You still can, and (read all about MY cat) but... the email won't work at the moment. Sorry!

Every month we feature a kitty or two who are looking for their forever home. Since I've run out of your kitties until the email is back up, here's another kitty who is in need of a companion! This special needs girl from Katie's Place!

They make no judgment on whose life is worth rescuing; the sick, elderly and the injured are as precious as the healthy, young and attractive.

Katie’s Place is a volunteer-run no-kill animal shelter in Maple Ridge. Two principals guide them: all life is valuable, and we are responsible for improving the quality of life for all those in our care.

Anastasia is a beautiful girl with a sparkling personality. This silky bright-eyed Russian Blue had a whole life of easy cuddles ahead of her when one day, she was ht by a car. This teeny little thing was lucky to live, but serious nerve damage to her tail has left her with a long recovery process that very few people would have the patience for - she has had to re-learn control of her bowels. She has come a very long way, but still sometimes needs a bit of a clean-up. She would love an understanding and attentive home, maybe with hardwood or laminate floors. To help with her issues she has been going to regular acupuncture (you KNOW you've always wanted to say the words "I have to take my cat to her acupuncture appointment" am I right?)
Do you have bowel issues? The two of you could bond and be poop buddies! But really. A little bit of poop never hurt anyone (you know, as long as it isn't in your food or water supply.)

Who knew I would ever be sitting here thinking "I need a good poop pun"? Well, here I am. I've got nothing. Adopt this cute kitty, it'll be an interesting experience.

Adopt her here!

Are you interested in adopting a different cat? We have kitties for adoption up every month! Last time was Donny!
