We are only three days away from the annual Vancouver Draw Down on Saturday, June 20! Now in its 6th year, Vancouver Draw Down is a one-day, city-wide drawing festival that celebrates creativity and challenges commonplace ideas about what drawing is and what it can do. This Saturday, reconnect with the power and pleasure of making your mark at over 35 FREE drawing workshops across Vancouver.
Since last weekend, to get your ink and imagination flowing for the workshops on June 20th, Vancouver Draw Down has been issuing the Online Daily Drawing Challenge. Over the first four days of the seven-day challenge we have received so many inspiring, funny and imaginative drawings. Vancouverites have taken up the challenge, finding just five minutes each day to take pleasure in drawing—regardless of age and skill level!

There’s still time for you to take part in the Daily Drawing Challenge too! Find the daily drawing instructions, spend just five minutes taking the challenge, and then share your Daily Drawings to win fabulous prizes from Opus Art Supplies. Post photos or scans of your drawings to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Tag us @VanDrawDown and use the hashtag #DailyDrawing! Inspire fellow Vancouverites to make their mark by sharing your drawings online.
And on Saturday, June 20, join Vancouver Draw Down at free drawing workshops across the city—developed and led by local professional artists, and designed for people of all ages and skill levels! Workshops will be held at almost 40 locations including 23 community centres, Vancouver Art Gallery, across Granville Island, Access Gallery, Mountainview Cemetery, among many. They’re free and no registration is required—so get to as many as possible throughout the day! Full workshop details available at the Vancouver Draw Down website.
