The answer to Dîner en Blanc has arrived, and it's called Ce Soir Noir. This "no chic-picnic" held in Crab Park on Tuesday, August 25th promises to be the exact opposite of chichi. No invitation necessary, the organizers of this grassroots non-event are encouraging you to "dress head-to-toe in your blackest clothes, grab some friends, some food and beverages, a big blanket and set yourself down for the evening for peaceful resplendence in one of Vancouver’s finest parks".
