High Art? Talent Time screens its psychedelic episode

By now, you've probably heard of Paul Anthony's Talent Time. This critically-acclaimed monthly variety/talk show/cable access TV program, at the Rio Theatre, is pretty much a cult phenomenon. This summer they tried something different. They attempted an experimental episode high on psychedelics: complete with the real life shaman, large rock'n roll choir, singing bus driver, absurd physical comedy and surprisingly touching moments with Vancouver's Rollergirl. The results were documented here in Paige J Mader’s piece.

Claiming the footage was "too good" to cut down to their 30 minute time slot, Talent Time has created its first ever double episode. Tomorrow, you have a chance to see both television episodes a full day before part 1 premiers on both Shaw TV and the Novus Network.

Thursday, August 13th. Little Mountain Gallery (195 E 26th Ave) 7pm doors, 7:30 screening. $5 suggested donation.

Paul Anthony's Talent Time begins it's 8th season, Thursday September 3rd at the Rio Theatre.
