Buy your own 9 O'clock Gun at this bizarre auction

Okay, so first things first. The auction house Maynards Industries was the first person to Favourite THIS TWEET we made about the #posevancouver mystery, so they've now become a suspect in the case of who put them up around town.

Okay, so first things first. The auction house Maynards Industries was the first person to Favourite THIS TWEET we made about the #posevancouver mystery, so they've now become a suspect in the case of who put them up around town.

After I scanned their feed for evidence of gold picture frames (and came up empty handed) I clicked over to their website and found the most peculiar of things: an auction, to take place at 2nd Ave and Main Street, for a large cache of rifles and other military goods. More than 60 antique rifles, some non-antique, some pistols, swords, and a cannon. A CANNON.

This might be worth attending simply to see who it attracts. I know people who live in Vancouver and hunt and I would count even them out of folks who would go to this. Will one rich collector come in and buy them all? Will 60 people line up and buy one each to put above their fireplaces? Are there even 60 people who'll become aware of the auction and are also approved with their PAL license, the one required to buy non-restricted firearms in Canada?
