Life Off Grid film

A wonderful Canadian film called Life Off Grid is playing at the Rio Theatre November 22nd and 23rd, and you should most definitely go check it out. Professor Phillip Vannini and doctorate student/photojournalist Jonathan Taggart spent the better part of the last three years researching for this documentary about people who have chosen to take their lives… well… off the grid. It takes the Dwell Magazine shine off it a little an offers a real look at what it means to remove yourself from the basic comforts of modern life in a city, or even a village for that matter.

The preview is below, and if you can’t make it out and would rather watch it at home you can rent it for $4.99 on Vimeo HERE. Otherwise RSVP to the Facebook event HERE and buy tickets.
