The folks at The Growler (BC's most awesome source when it comes to craft beer) published an in-depth feature about a new charity boxing tournament akin to Aprons For Gloves where folks in the restaurant industry duke it out for charity. Beer Wars will put local brewery heads head-to-head in matches that will benefit the Eastside Boxing Club, a non-profit gym which helps at-risk youth.
